Signing in sends you to Canvas, which asks whether this tool may read your courses. It is read-only: it can see what your own Canvas account can already see, and nothing else. It cannot change anything, and it never reads student work, enrolments or grades. Access lasts one hour, and signing out hands it back.

Signing in is not the same as being admitted: the tool is open to the people on its approved list, and everyone else is turned away at the door — with the name of the person to ask, rather than a blank page.

This tool reports no per-course score and is not for evaluating individuals. It shows where course material is easy to find and where it is not, so that support can go where it is useful.

What gets checked

Every row of the S&H Canvas Check List, in one of three ways.

Deterministic	Computed from Canvas data with no judgement: do assignment group weights total 100%, does every assignment carry a description, are group grades within the 40% cap, are announcements being used.
AI-augmented	Judgement calls, with the evidence shown alongside the verdict: are readings actually listed on the syllabus rather than behind a PDF link, are slides named meaningfully, is the guest lecturer named in the event. Backend: OpenWebUI (vertex/claude-sonnet-4-6@europe-west1).
Manual	Not observable through the API at all — Inbox usage, and whether material went up a week before the due date. Shown as a prompt so the checklist stays whole.
